Dublin Fire Brigade sports and social club was formed in the 1970s to bring together firefighters in Dublin in a non work aspect. Various clubs and societies were formed over the years and the club had a number of premises although there is now no club premises at present.

Most firefighters pay a week subscription to the club organisation which produces a high quality magazine 4 times a year.

A whole host of clubs and societies exist in the brigade some of which are formally attached to the club.
